Research master’s student

Background

Inge is a second-year research master’s student Language and Communication at the Radboud University Nijmegen and Tilburg University. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Information Sciences at the Radboud University in 2014. Her thesis focused on the influence of narrative news reports on public compassion towards perpetrators of a felonious act (i.e. a shooting at a mall).

During the Research Master, Inge has specialized in health communication research. She did an internship at the Tilburg University about social norms and health behaviour, and works as a student-assistant for Enny Das on several research projects (e.g. HPV vaccinations and tweets on health epidemics). As an intern she will be focusing on the influence of positive and negative message framing in medical consultations, a project supervised by Jantien van Berkel.
