Anniek Boeijinga new PhD student Health Communication

As from December 2012, Anniek Boeijinga started the PhD project “Prevention and Health Regulation Behaviour by Understandable Personal Narratives” (funded by ZonMw), which aims to improve the health regulation behaviour of workers with a lower SES/health literacy. The project focuses on truck drivers in the transport sector and is conducted in close cooperation with the Dutch occupational health and safety organisation 365.

Anniek has completed the Bachelor Language & Communication and the research Master Rhetoric, Argumentation theory & Philosophy (specialisation: health communication) at the University of Amsterdam. The PhD project is supervised by Prof. dr. Hans Hoeken, Dr. José Sanders, Dr. Catelijne Joling, and Prof. dr. Willem van Rhenen.
